Fabric, lace, sequins and paint on cloth 125x160cm

The poem of Maya Angelou ‘Still I Rise’ was the starting point of this work. Body inspired shapes and organic forms are elevating to the top. It evokes regeneration, a rebirth, an instinct of survival.
